As the Democratic convention has been wrapping up, the scandals have been escalating. Outside the conference stadium, protesters have been up in arms, disturbing the peace. One would think all these protestors outside of a Democratic National Convention would be Trump supporters, but it is quite the contrary. The protestors are a majority Bernie Sanders voters disenfranchised with the corrupt politics of the DNC to block their freedom of expression and peaceful protest in the rally. On the second day of the DNC, Bernie Sanders stood at the Vermont podium and announced defeat as he asked the convention chair to nominate Hillary Rodham Clinton formally as the nominee of the Democratic party for POTUS.
This week, the DNC has been wild, with people booing speakers off the stage, and for good reason, as reported in the past, the chairwoman of the DNC, Debbie Wasserman Schultz has been colluding against the Sanders Campaign the entire primary season, virtually guaranteeing the nomination to Hillary Clinton. In the past couple of days, though, the disorder has escalated significantly.
First, there have been actors hired for $50 a day to sit in the convention as Hillary supporters and take the seats of the Bernie people who have been kicked out, and now are protesting in the streets. Craigslist flyers are advertising anything from $14 an hour to $50 a day.
Also, reports are concluding the DNC has installed “white noise machines” that will help block out Bernie Sanders supporters’ vocal protest and emit clapping for during Hillary Clinton’s speech at the DNC. The tension is growing as there is more and more chaos in and outside of the convention. The Democratic party seems to be disenfranchised, with many Bernie supporters vowing they will vote for Libertarian nominee Gary Johnson and Green Party nominee Jill Stein over Hillary Clinton. Some protesters have even been shouting “lock her up” and “crooked Hillary” in the crowd. As more developments come in, Join The Block Party will keep its viewers updated on the latest DNC news including Hillary Clinton’s speech this evening.
