Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham and Speaker of the House Brian
On February 5th, Lujan Grisham ordered a mass withdrawal of hundreds of New Mexico National Guard troops from the U.S./Mexico border, an apparent politically-charged move, to fire up the anti-wall, pro-illegal immigrant base, and jab at the duly elected President of the United States, Donald J. Trump.
The Change.org petition cites the specifics for which the call for impeachment is based, citing detailed reasons why the governor’s actions are grounds for impeachment, as they aid and give comfort to the United States’ enemies (criminal illegal aliens).
Pursuant to Article II, Section 2 of the New Mexico Constitution, it reads: “The people of the state have the sole and exclusive right to govern themselves as a free, sovereign and independent state.“
Article II Section 16 reads: “Treason against the state shall consist only in levying war against it, adhering to its enemies, or giving them aid and comfort. No person shall be convicted of treason.“
Article IV, Section 36 reads: “All state officers and judges of the district court shall be liable to impeachment for crimes, misdemeanors, and malfeasance in office, but judgment in such cases shall not extend further than removal from office and disqualification to hold any office of honor, trust or profit, or to vote under the laws of this state…”
From reading the physical text of the Constitution on the material, written description of treason, it is my official opinion that Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham both “adhered to” our enemies and gave them “aid and comfort” by refusing to protect our border. Also, if HB-195 (the “Sanctuary State” bill), proposed by members of the current House of Representatives is passed and signed by the Governor, it would be a direct violation to our sovereignty, as described in Article II, Section 2.
Also, for those looking for a definition of “enemy,” as referenced in the law, an “enemy” is “any country, government, group, or person that has been engaged in hostilities, whether or not lawfully authorized, with the United States.” That would include New Mexico.
People who entered this country illegally are by definition criminals and therefore enemies of the state. Giving them sanctuary is the same as giving them comfort and aid. There are unambiguous guidelines for what constitutes asylum, and just because someone wants to come into our country is not a viable reason to do so.

Simply put, the Governor told New Mexicans hardest-hit by illegal aliens pouring over into our country that “she sees the problem,” however her actions prove the antithesis, as she is doing less to secure our border by removing troops from the area.
Historically, Lujan Grisham has trashed national security, calling a border wall with Mexico “unnecessary, impractical, ineffective, and extremely costly.” Unfortunately, the Governor never took into account the cost of illegal immigration per year versus a one-time investment of a $5 billion border wall.
According to NBC News, the yearly cost of illegal immigration minus tax contributions is $54 billion a year. The figure is meager compared to those of leading immigration groups, such as the Federation for American Immigration Reform, which estimates it as much closer to $116 billion annually. Either way, it would be $49 -110 billion more than a simple, one-time investment in an impenetrable structure keeping dangers away from America and its people.
EGOlf made news earlier this month by blatantly defying House of Representatives rules by closing debate on a critical gun bill before the debate period was up. The Democrats, now with a hefty majority in the House can pass through whatever they want, but still can’t stomach doing it by the rulebook.
The carelessness and arrogance displayed by EGOlf and Grisham show just how out of touch they are with the common New Mexican, who has to deal with the costly effects of illegal immigration, as Lujan Grisham herself said AT OUR DOORSTEPS! The Governor putting the welfare of criminal illegal aliens before law-abiding New Mexicans is an act of treason.
Speaker EGOlf’s unwillingness to even listen to the people of New Mexico is not only concerning, but actionable. I would not go as far as to say it is impeachable, however, his obstruction is something to take note of. Just because Grisham and EGOlf hold high offices, there are are no excuses for abuses of power.
New Mexico’s Democrat Party is obviously more interested in keeping its corrupt-to-the-core leaders in power than in doing the right thing. Let’s see how that works out come November 2020, unless, by some miracle, the news is leaked of the Governor’s underhanded leadership, and she is forcibly removed from office, along with her pal, Brian EGOlf.
She is an embarrassment to our state! The true colors were shown when she released the video running threw walls. I understand it was for her campaign, advised not to air because the New Mexicans wanted tbe barrier. She is doibg what she wants and don’t care about the people of the state. How dare they block a Petition signed by the People. Arrogance..

It has become, to me, and to many American citizens, in regards to recent events and revelations, that
the very government agency’s that have taken a oath, to defend and protect the Constitution of the
United States of America, have not only failed in this endeavor, but had sought to overthrow the legal
and lawfully elected government, by way of, bureaucratic, coup d’é·tat against the presidency of
Donald J. Trump. This same agenda was been supported by the radical Democrat Party and the
propaganda arm of the mainstream news media, whose job was to be the source of news and
information, as well as those whose task, was to keep those elected to office, accountable to the
American people. The news media has a clear agenda, and that is to push the liberal agenda. The FBI
within its ranks, were those who would whatever was necessary to keep Donald Trump from becoming
the next president of our nation. The Democrat Party, so desperate to hold on to power in our nation,
has been carrying on a relentless and all encompassing political witch hunt that seeks to circumvent the
will of the American people. The Democrat Party has abandoned most if not all core American
principles of free speech and American values intrinsic to our beloved Constitution and the Bill of
Rights. The Democrat Party has become a clear and very real threat to our nations most cherished
values. It has become perfectly clear that the freedoms that many take for granted in our nation, is
quickly diminishing under the weight of the bureaucratic state, that we the people elected, to guarantee
those said freedoms. The news media, wanted the American people to believe, that Donald Trump, had
little of no chance to become the next president of our nation. The news media in our nation has lost
any credibility that they had before. With each new revelation, the so called, Deep State, has showed it
hand, in the endeavor, go around the American people, and place a bureaucratic hack, who only wishes
to erode the freedoms we Americans have experienced for the past 243 years. This bureaucracy, that
has placed on us, a 22 trillion dollar millstone on the shoulders of the American people. So many of our
soldiers have died and suffered to safeguard our freedoms, and, we are voting away our free very
freedoms, in order that the government Nanny state, would give everything that we as free people,
should work and earn, by the sweat of our brow. Freedom is hard work, it is not for a lazy and slothful
people. The Socialist agenda is a clear threat to our Republic, and must be met, by a clear agenda, of
resistance by like minded Patriots, from every corner of our great nation. The moral authority of our
nation is being eroded by the radical Feminist agenda, that wishes to promote the murder of babies, just
moments from birth. The land is soaked with the blood of some 60 million souls at the butcher and
murder centers of Planned Parenthood. Americans of good conscience, will not stand by, while the
borders of our nation, are left unguarded, with a mass flow of deadly drugs, and dangerous criminals
flow over an unprotected frontier. The United States of America, will not be the welfare state of the
world. The American people, go to work everyday, to pay their taxes, so that their government, does its
job, of protecting our freedoms and security, not pander to those that break our laws to enter our
sovereign nation. The House of Representatives, is betraying the American people, by working on
behalf of illegal immigrants and is working contrary to the best obligations to the American people.
Those Republicans, who do not wish to support our president, in declaring a national Emergency at our
border, are no better than the traitors in the radical leftist Democrat Party. We have to decide, that the
many sacrifices made on our behalf, by the many thousands of young, men and women, was in vain, to
safeguard our freedoms, was worth their many sacrifices. It is the complacent population that loses its
freedoms, when they place their well being, in the hands of their so called elected officials. When those
elected officials, hold on to power, for over 50 years, they no longer are working on behalf of the
American people, but have become a power structure that threatens the very freedoms, they have sworn
to protect. The founders of our nation, wanted a nation, by and for the people of the United States of
America, not by a power structure that slowly but surely, is taking away our freedoms, one law at a
time. One Czar at a time, our freedoms are becoming mute and effectively dead. Our nation is at a
crisis point. Our Republic is under dire threat and we must not stand by, while our freedoms are taken
away. We must stand up and fight back.
Great statement, Paul. Thank you. Until we take our children back from the state and the evil indoctrination, this subversion will continue. We can not have a functioning republic when the american people are ignorant of their God give rights and our founding principles.
The petition to impeach Governor Grisham now has nearly 60,000 signatures.
I know this sounds harsh, but if NM voters continue to blindly vote for Democrats to lead our state, then we deserve what we get, i.e., corruption, high crime, useless public schools, burdensome regulations, high taxes and out-of-control spending. I seriously doubt if voters will ever wake up to the reality that voting Democrat means a dead-end future for NM.
